The Pacific Jazz Institute at Dimitriou's Jazz Alley welcomes the return of funky stuff, Tower of Power for four nights and eight shows. Band members are Adolfo Acosta (trumpet), Emilio Castillo (sax), Sal Cracchiolo (trumpet), Jerry Cortez (guitar), David Garibaldi (drums), Ray Greene (singer), Stephen “Doc” Kupka (baritone sax), Tom Politzer (sax), Rocco Prestia (bass), Raymond McKinley (alternate member: bass) and Roger Smith (keyboards). Show times Thursday - Sunday at 7:30p and 9:30p. Doors open at 5:30pm Friday – Sunday and 6:00 Thursday night.

International Guitar Night is North America’s premier traveling guitar festival, bringing together the world’s foremost acoustic guitarists. Each tour, International Guitar Night founder Brian Gore invites a new cast of guitar luminaries to participate in a special evening of solos, duets and quartets that highlight the virtuosity and diversity within the world of acoustic guitar. On this tour, Gore will be joined by three of Europe's leading acoustic guitarists: Gypsy Jazz legend Lulo Reinhardt, contemporary fingerstyle innovator Mike Dawes and multi-genre showman Andre Krengel.
