When it comes to classic 1970s design, few watches are better examples of that periods’ look than the Heuer Silverstone. Launched in 1974, the Silverstone was available with a choice of three dial colours- Red, “Fume” and Blue.

It’s already been a busy 12 months for new Aquaracer models, with TAG Heuer launching a new Aquaracer 300m series including a family of 3-hand watches and chronographs. And now there is another choice to add to the mix- the Aquaracer 300m Calibre 16 Ceramic Bezel. This year has been the year of the GMT for TAG Heuer, with Link, Carrera and Formula 1 GMT models launched. While each of these are regular production models, there is a fourth GMT watch new to the collection- the TAG Heuer Aquaracer 500m Calibre 7 GMT (Ref. WAK211A).
Based on the same 41mm stainless steel case as the Calibre 5 Aquaracer 500m, the new Calibre 7 is effectively a GMT version of Ref. WAK2110 with a Blue GMT hand and a revised ceramic bezel.

TAG Heuer has teamed up with Oracle to develop a special edition of the Aquaracer 72 for the crew of Oracle Team USA in the 2013 America’s Cup. The Smartwatch is based on the design of the Aquaracer Calibre 72 that we’ve shown you recently, but is engineered solely for use by the team.
