A former middle school science/math/tech teacher, she put her career on hold to be at home with her son and daughter on an island in the Pacific Northwest. When Val breaks away from her keyboard, she enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking, camping, photography, tidepooling, sailing and potlucks. She gets a kick out of combing the web for recipes and making them gluten free so she can share meals with her husband, family and friends. She is a tech-gadget geek who is poked fun at, but it doesn’t bother her a bit. Combining her love of photography, tech and graphics to create new, fun content for her sites quenches her “thirst” for integrated technology.

Greg Santomero

Greg and his wife Angela are the creative force behind the dynamic “Angela’s Clues.” He manages to juggle most of what is thrown his way, while keeping his gals “essentially” in one piece and smiling through it all. He is a three time Emmy Award winning designer/creative director who has been a major force in developing the look for NBC’s Olympic Games, The Super Bowl, The French Open, Wimbledon and more. Most recently, Greg began Santo Studios, a boutique design studio specializing in all forms of visual communication utilizing live action, 2D and 3D for web, film, TV, print and overall brand development.

Keesha Beckford

Before her two children re-choreographed her life, Keesha was a professional dancer who performed in the U.S. and in Europe. Today she teaches modern and jazz dance in the Chicago area. She is also the human cyclone behind the blog Mom’s New Stage. A multitasker at heart, she shows fierce skills at simultaneously writing, choreographing, checking Facebook and Pinterest updates, playing the role of a mother named Joan “Kumbaya” Crawford, and overcooking food. Keesha is one of the select contributing authors of In The Powder Room’s first anthology, You Have Lipstick on Your Teeth. Her writing has been featured on Mamapedia, The Huffington Post, and in the bestselling anthology I Just Want to Pee Alone.

Suzanne Cowden

Suzanne usually writes about sweet and savory baking projects over at Flour Arrangements, where she focuses on food as a centerpiece for both everyday routines and special occasions. Each recipe, from simple loaves of bread to fondant decorated birthday cakes, comes with a story that blends life with cooking.

She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two daughters.

Alison Lee

Alison Lee is a former PR and marketing professional turned work-at-home mother. After a 10-year career in various PR agencies, and of the world’s biggest sports brands, Alison traded in product launches and world travel, for sippy cups, diapers, and breastfeeding. Alison shares stories of motherhood on her blog, Writing, Wishing. She is one of 35 essayists in the anthology, My Other Ex: Women’s True Stories of Leaving and Losing Friends. In 2012, she founded Little Love Media, a social media consultancy. Alison lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with her husband and four children (two boys and boy/ girl twins).

Amelia Mayer

Amelia lives with her husband, two young boys and baby girl in Yellowstone National Park. She and her family live each moment to the fullest, with the belief that life is precious. Together with her husband, she encourages adventures for their boys in the form of skiing, hiking, biking, running, camping and lots of outdoor playing. Amelia writes at Tales of a Mountain Mama in an attempt to inspire others to get outside daily too with tips and tricks, stories and lots of gear reviews and giveaways.

Cerys is all the way from England although before settling down and having children she lived in Greece and Costa Rica working as a marine biologist and science and computer teacher. She’s now a mum of 2 little ones, a retired greyhound owner and wife to a star wars fan, and can be found sharing ideas for a Creative Family Fun life on Rainy Day Mum. When she’s not writing ideas and solving tech problems she can be found taming the jungle of her garden, walking the dog, crafting or day dreaming about the next travel destination for the family.
