A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013.

Kaiyenna: She gave up her pacifier to the pacifier fairy last week so that the fairy could give them to babies that need them. She hasn’t asked for them but she has been having a hard time going to sleep. She usually will settle down if I ask her if she wants to sleep on mommy and pappi’s bed.

Naiya: Is getting better at laying on her tummy and holding her head up. I had my first wedding this week and had to leave her for about 4 hours. When I got home she would not look me in the eyes. It was the craziest thing. She would look in her papi’s eyes and smile but she would not look at me.

I am excited to join Jodi’s A Portrait a Week project for this year. I need to photograph my children with more then my iPhone!
