Shasha Wu is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Spring Arbor University since 2005. Dr. Wu received his M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.  His research topics include Information Visualization Methods for Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Constraint and Spatiotemporal Databases, and Software Engineering. Dr. Wu has a demonstrated research and consulting experience in management and implementation of software solutions with a special emphasis on software engineering and spatial Database applications. He has diverse research and development exposure in spatiotemporal database systems, GIS applications, knowledge-based systems, and enterprise computing software. His research publications span cognitive science, management science and computer science and engineering. He is one of the major developers of the MLPQ Constraint Database Management System when he was at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He was a senior software design engineer that designed and implemented several enterprise computing software suits for several software companies. He is also co-author of many journal and conference papers on stable analysis and design patterns, software stability modeling, information visualization and reasoning, spatiotemporal database systems, and sensor networking.
