On July 11, 2012, the DOE Office of Science granted CD-1 approval to Mu2e. Most recently (March, 2015) the DOE granted CD-2 approval to baseline the experiment and CD-3b approval for the ground breaking of our experimental hall. A DOE CD-3a approval for the procurement of our superconducting cable occured in July, 2014. We are now working towards DOE CD-3c approval.
