Differences Between the Muslim and Christian Concepts of Divine Love

Christians might argue that nevertheless we need lofty ideals to strive for, even if they are virtually unattainable. Muslims might reply that it is detrimental for public morality if unattainable rules are promoted which, of course, are constantly violated by everybody in sight, because that (Christian) approach creates a climate of, and promotes, hypocrisy at a massive scale. I share the latter judgment, being afraid that people used to violating basic rules of their professed moral code might become cynical about morality as such. Indeed there is divine wisdom behind the fact that all religious obligations placed on Muslims while not being easy to fulfill are all within reach of the average believer….Read More

Schism – A Muslim Answer To Fitna

This short movie was made in less than twenty four hours in response to Geert Wilders’s anti-Islam polemical movie, entitled “Fitna”. The six-minute video called “Schism” by 33-year-old Saudi blogger Raid Al-Saeed takes violent Biblical texts and intersperses them with fiery rants by a Christian fundamentalist youth leader in Texas. Kudos goes to the Muslim brother who directed the video. This is the kind of “response” that is needed from Muslims, an intellectual response and not one which is based on emotion….Read More

Christian Origins and Islam in Malaysia

The following is a video dialogue (Part I and Part II) on the issue of Christianity, missionary proselytisation of their religion as well as the state of Islam in Malaysia with the founder and Executive Editor of Bismika Allahuma, MENJ. He discusses the origins of Christianity, the core missionary raison d’etre behind their zeal and methodology of selling the Bible in order to deceive the Muslim masses, as well as lambasting the apathy of the Islamic authorities in Malaysia with regard to the da’wah (propagation) efforts of Islam to the people in general….Read More

What Should Be the Muslim Reaction to Christmas?

Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah alone, for making us Muslims and bestowing us the Deen of Islam to distinguish right and wrong. The holiday season is upon us again, and the ugly head of Satan is rising again to inspire people to indulge in innovation and shirk. What proceeds is an analytical view of Christmas and appropriate Muslim conduct during the Christmas season. Quite a number of Muslims today, especially those living in Christian-dominated countries or those influenced to a large degree by western culture, have been led to consider that taking part in the Christmas celebrations of friends and relatives is, at very least, a harmless past time if not a legitimate source of pleasure for children and adults alike. In many instances, pressure to conform with the practices of society is too great for those of weak resolve to withstand….Read More

Missionary Activity in Kosovo and the Causes of Muslim Conversions

After the last war in Kosovo, the overall economic situation of the country has deteriorated in a drastic way. As is well-known, the end of war meant that Kosovo became a target for many Christian organizations, a phenomenon which seems to accompany every war-emerging country nowadays. The same happened to post-communist Albania, as well as Bosnia, Rwanda and several other countries in the world involved in different conflicts. Needless to mention, great poverty is a gate to disbelief, as man is continuously in search for the provision granted to him by the Almighty and frustration seems to cause all kinds of incongruent decisions. In order to elucidate the bitter reality in Kosovo, we are presenting the case of the conversion of an entire Muslim family to Christianity….Read More

Learning Christianity in Five Minutes

It is well-known that the “Christianity” of today has dubious origins, which ironically does not come from Jesus, peace be upon him (although the whole structure is attributed to him), but from Paul of Tarsus, who can be rightly referred to as “that Satanic apostle”. For it was Paul who laid down the religious foundations of today’s Christianity, doctrines based on the idolatry and philosophical thought of the Greco-Roman empire at the time….Read More
