BioWare Edmonton – the studio that gave us the Mass Effect franchise – is working on a new game set in its own fictional universe.

According to IGN, at PAX East Casey Hudson, executive producer of the Mass Effect series, said that the studio is working on a new franchise and its attendant universe. Clearly, the studio hopes it will be a multi-game outing.

As for the Mass Effect series, it's currently being handled by BioWare Montreal.
