Santioned Special Tournament
The NRA Sanctioned Special Tournament allows American youth-serving organizations with junior shooting programs the opportunity to conduct sanctioned tournaments at reduced match fees. Eligible clubs and teams may hold these tournaments for a lower cost per shooter than Approved or Registered tournaments. A club or team that wants to participate must belong to a national youth-serving organization, such as (but not limited to) the 4-H, The American Legion, the U.S. Jaycees, or the Boy Scouts of America. NRA club affiliation and individual membership is encouraged but not required. The special tournament is consideredRestricted, which means that the shooters will receive classification cards but national records may not be established.

To hold a special tournament under this program, have an officer of your national-level organization sign the Cooperative Youth Organization Confirmation Form to verify your club's affiliation or membership. Once the form has been received and confirmed by the parent organization, NRA will send your club aTournament Application.
