Elena was a PhD candidate at the Caledonian Academy focusing on graduate employability. Originally from Sverdlovsk region in Russia, Elena studied Linguistics at the Ural State Pedagogical University, In the UK, Elena studied first at the University of Edinburgh, graduating with an MSc in Management of Training and Development.
Elena's study explored the attitudes of social science doctoral researchers and key stakeholders (researcher developers, supervisors), linking these perspectives to existing skills development frameworks and current approaches to development of employability.
