Welcome to the University Residences Tour. Use this site to find out more about the Residence Halls or to figure out where you would like to live on campus. You can navigate using the maps on each page. The brighter areas are navigable, while the rest of campus is slightly darker, allowing you to still see where a given hall is in relation to other places on campus.

If you are new to campus and are unsure of where to start, the best option is to just dive in! There are three regions for you to explore: North Campus, The Ridge, and South Campus, each with its own perks.

North Campus residents are close to Old Main where much of Western's administration is located. Students often relax or play Ultimate Frisbee on the large front lawn of Old Main. North Campus is also close to Wilson Library, which is a great place to study, and not too far from downtown Bellingham.

The Ridge is a centrally located residential area that sits up on a tree covered ridge above Carver Gym. The Ridge is also right above the Wade King Student Recreation Center, so it is easy to head over and enjoy a game of basketball, work out in the weight room or practice on the rock climbing wall.

South Campus sits just south of the Communications Building and is a short walk to the Wade King Student Recreation Center. South campus is a short bus ride to the Sehome Shopping Center, which has several restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries.
