Academic Calendar
The Registrar's Office manages the official Academic Calendar, which contains the dates and times for all registration periods, application deadlines, holidays, special events, and more. You can filter the calendar, save it, or subscribe to it!
Commencement
The Registrar's Office works with the Office of the President and many other UCF departments to coordinate the commencement ceremonies. The office prepares the Commencement Program and is responsible for the Commencement website.
Transcript Request
Both current and former students can order official transcripts online via myUCF. Due to restrictions mandated by the FERPA privacy act, we are unable to accept email attachments, email requests, fax, or phone requests for official transcripts.
Readmission Application
Those who have not attended UCF for two consecutive semesters, have been academically suspended, or have previously earned a baccalaureate degree at UCF and are currently pursuing a 2nd bachelor’s degree should fill out an application for readmission.
Transient Students
Incoming transient students are those seeking a degree at another Florida public institution and want to temporarily take courses at UCF. Outgoing UCF Transient Students are those seeking a degree at UCF and would like to temporarily take courses at another Florida public institution.
Online Enrollments
Due to restrictive state regulations, UCF is not permitted to provide online courses or instruction to students in the states listed below. If you currently reside in one of these states, you may not be permitted to enroll in an online class or be admitted to a UCF online program.
Excess Hours
In order to encourage students to complete their degree as quickly and efficiently as possible, the state of Florida established an Excess Credit Hour Surcharge. It requires universities to add a surcharge to each credit hour taken in excess of the total number of credit hours required to complete the degree being pursued.
FERPA
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, or FERPA, is the United States federal law that protects student records privacy review and disclosure rights. The law guarantees these rights for both current and former UCF students. This section discusses what is and is not covered under FERPA.
