A fake bishop infiltrates the Vatican!

spacer Well, for a few minutes at least. Not that hard to do, actually. This ain’t the Pentagon. If he got into the conclave, now that’d be something. But betrayed by a sash? Why did he go to all this trouble and use a scarf? One word, bro: Gammarelli’s…

The Telegraph has the story, and photo:

Ralph Napierski, a self-appointed bishop from an apparently fictional order called Corpus Dei, managed to get through a checkpoint manned by Swiss Guards but was stopped before entering the Paul VI Hall, where the cardinals were gathering.

Dressed in fake bishop’s vestments, complete with a purple sash, Mr Napierski smiled to photographers as he mixed with more than 140 cardinals from around the world as they filed into the hall to discuss the challenges facing the Church and possible “papabili” or papal candidates.

On closer inspection the sash turned out to be a scarf.

Kind of funny: Fake bishops are getting in, and folks can’t keep real cardinals out.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I to find this topic
too be really something that I feel I would by no meas understand.
It kind of feels too complicated and very vast for me.
I’m looking forward in your next put up, I’ll try to get the dangle of it!
