The job of each board member is to carryout the TA’s mission by working with Housing and Residential Services, the university, and community officials to address the concerns of FSH residents. Official job descriptions can be found in the TA bylaws. Official responsibilities include: attending monthly board meetings, attending quarterly general membership meetings, voting, maintaining confidentiality, and documenting and archiving TA business.
Hello FSH Community! My name is Jessica Parfrey, and I am so excited to be serving as your TAB President. As a mother and a student of Ecology, community and sustainability are particular passions of mine. I feel so lucky to share this wonderful experience with my husband and son, and can’t wait to work with the community, and with our excellent TAB Team, to build a better and brighter FSH experience!

Liz Zeffiro is the new Storke VP for 2015-2016. She has a passion for community service and is very excited to serve our FSH community this coming year. She is from Pittsburgh, PA and currently lives in FSH with her boyfriend, Will. She can be found around FSH tending to her garden or picking herbs from the community garden. Jackie Briggs will continue to serve as the West Campus VP for 2015-2016. She also has a long history serving on the TA Board. Jackie was Secretary in 2013-2014 and West Campus VP in 2014-2015. A California native, she is from Lancaster, CA and now lives in FSH with her boyfriend, Josh. In her spare time (which isn’t often enough!), she enjoys drawing animals, especially dogs. Silke Werth is the new Secretary for 2015-2016. She is from Bolzano, Italy and currently lives in FSH with her husband, Thad, and two crazy little dudes (Raphael age 5 and Luca age 2). Silke is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department for East Asian Languages and Cultural Studies. Stephanie Griffith is the new Treasurer for 2015-2016. She also brings previous TA Board and community service experience to her position. She served as the West Campus VP in 2013-2014 and has been very active in West Campus Relief Fund efforts for the last year and a half. A California native, she is from Lockwood, CA and now lives in FSH with her husband Brian, son Matteo, and has another Baby Griffith on the way! She loves to cook and feed people! I have about 21 years experience with computers and 19 years designing websites. More than this is a great job for an undergrad in Anthropology but it also gives me a chance to get to know and be involved with the community I’ve enjoyed since being moved here from San Clemente in winter 2015. I have many hobbies, but I really enjoy researching the sciences, as well have a passion in ethnomusicology as well as playing several instruments and singing in different languages, as well as gardening and painting/calligraphy. I really want this website to be the reflection of the tenant community we represent, so any comments on posts or emails directly to me ucsbwebmaster@gmail.com will be well received and appreciated
