Chemistry, M.S. The Chemistry Master of Science degree is aimed at preparing students for careers in the chemical industry. The curriculum for the industrial chemistry program is designed to provide a broad overall perspective of the industry and an awareness of economic and engineering considerations while placing the primary emphasis upon chemistry and the application of chemical principles to the development of products and processes.

Forensic Science, M.S The Forensic Science Master Program is designed to service the needs of both practicing professionals and full time students who desire an advanced program of study in the forensic analysis of biological materials.

Ph.D. Graduate Program

Chemistry, Ph.D. The Ph.D. program in Chemistry provides doctoral training in many areas within the chemical sciences, with concentrations in Biochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, and Forensic Science. This program draws upon the strengths of the Department of Chemistry as well as other units within the University of Central Florida (e.g., CREOL/School of Optics, AMPAC, Biomolecular Sciences Program, etc.). The curriculum has been developed in collaboration with industrial scientists and represents a response to current and projected competencies needed by industry. This training provides scientists and educators who are capable of conducting research to solve important problems in contemporary fields of the chemical sciences and prepare a highly skilled work force to ensure the technological and economic health and competitiveness of
