The purpose of this website is to offer Satanists an alternative to films and video made by mainstream media and to highlight those which are truly Satanic in nature. Within these pages you will find essays on a variety of different films and video from all over the globe. We will discuss why it is we consider these works to be Satanic and what it is we look for in these media we feel are inspired by that dark force in nature we call SATAN. The viewpoints expressed on this website will be taken from a wide variety of registered members of the Church of Satan.

Contrary to popular belief, Satanic movies do not always have to be based on Horror or Sci-fi. The thing that makes a movie Satanic is the underlying message conveyed. These works tend to push you outside of your comfort zone and force the moviegoer to question society's norms. They cause you to think outside the control mechanisms of the matrix and to consider what Dr. LaVey called 'The Third Side' to life's problems. Satan is known for being the questioner, the accuser, and the challenger, and these movies and video oftentimes expose the hypocritical views held by mainstream society.

Along with movie and video reviews, we will also discuss relevant books which are in some way related to our dark aesthetic. We will include books on Film Noir, True Crime, Classic and modern monsters, etc. These books will be a supplement to the Satanic movie-going experience, and will not be limited to filmmaking. We feel that there has always been a dark underlying force in art from the beginning. It has always existed and has been expressed in art, film and literature by many who do not formally call themselves Satanists. It would be a disservice to the moviegoer for us to not let them know where these ideas come from.

All reviews must be focused, well-written, and reasonably connected to Satanism and the Satanic philosophy. And, as the word, "request" implies, do not write a review for us without clearing it with us first. It is likely that someone else might be writing a review on the same film or video as you, and clearance straightens out the mess of having duplicate reviews.
