International Students’ Exam Preparation Week- 25-28 March

QMSU is running QM’s first International Students’ Exam Preparation Week next week, from Monday 25 – Thursday 27 March. As part of this week there will be a series of workshops that will help you prepare for revision and your first experience of exams in the UK and QM.

Many departments across QM have come together in order to create a full week of events that can be attended by students. The sessions are drop in and will hold a maximum of 20 students. Take a look at the timetable below and feel free to attend to as many workshops as you like!

Monday 25 March
11am-12 noon: PASS Revision Techniques – Blomeley Room 1, Student Hub, Mile End
1-2pm: The Learning Unit ‘Writing to the Point’ - Blomeley Room 2 Student Hub, Mile End
2-3pm: Exams in History (Ian Stewart) - Blomeley Room 2 Student Hub, Mile End

Wednesday 27 March
10-11am: Breaking Down the Question - Blomeley Room 1 Student Hub, Mile End
10-11am: Exams in Geography - Blomeley Room 2 Student Hub, Mile End
11-12am: Exams in Politics - Exam Technique and Revision Strategies (Robbie Shilliam) - Blomeley Room 1 Student Hub, Mile End
3-4pm: Workshop on Managing Exam Anxiety (Advice and Counselling) - Queens Building EB4A

Thursday 28 March
2-3pm: PASS Revision Techniques - Blomeley Room 2 Student Hub, Mile End
3-4pm: Hispanic Studies Exams (Rocio Diaz Bravo) - Blomeley Room 2 Student Hub, Mile End
