Marou is the first artisan chocolate where the cocoa beans are grown and then the chocolate is made in Vietnam. Simplicity defines Marou – it is completely natural and only sugar is added to subtly balance the richness of the cocoa bean. It is the provenance of the cocoa bean that determines the unique taste of each bar.  

A stunning taste alone is not enough for Marou – the aim was to have a product crafted by hand from start to finish. The result – a dual toned art-deco inspired packaging that is as delectable as the taste inside. The paper is hand produced on original screen printing presses and each of the five bars in the collection is drawn from the hues of the cocoa pods. The bar itself is a lattice of shapes so you can simply break off a piece to suit you and save the rest for later – if you can resist!
