About This Site
You can tell a lot about a man by the way he plays ping-pong. Mr. Mueller plays with searing intensity, like Kong Linghui or a smoother, less deliberate Liu Guozheng. Andy's known as "Game Face" and when he blasts a cross-court, match point forehand past your outstretched paddle, you'll know why. His is a game of precision, power and understated style.
We could make a forced analogy about how his table tennis skills relate to his work, but we'll spare you that. Watch the piece, admire his use of white space, just don't expect any handouts at the table. --Eric Helin, Slowtron

Western State is an ongoing series of documentaries. Each examines an artist who approaches his work in a non-traditional way. The artists featured are difficult to categorize. Technology and media foster a rich, multidisciplinary approach. Western State, describes this culture of creativity through personal and engaging profiles of many of its leading practitioners.
