Here are some of the top ideas from others who have fundraised for NAT (National AIDS Trust):

Be dramatic like Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens

TwoBox Productions staged the “funk-strutting, glitterboots-wearing, disco-extravaganza” Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens on behalf of NAT. The musical was a hit, managing to wow its audiences while raising over £1,000! If you’re interested in fundraising for NAT by staging a production check out our Act It Out pack here.

Think big like Barclays

Every year several of the Barclays offices get involved with World AIDS Day by holding raffles, baking cakes, distributing ribbons and playing table-top games. However they didn’t stop there and marked the occasion by projecting the iconic red ribbon on to the Barclays building in Cheshire. If you’d like to fundraise at work, make sure you get in contact with our fundraising team, fundraising@nat.org.uk, and let us know what you’re planning.

Go the distance like SOLCATS, Nationwide

On World AIDS Day 2013 Nationwide's LGBT network SOLCATS launched a year-long challenge to cover the distance over land and water from their head office in Swindon to South Africa in order to raise money for NAT. SOLCATS managed to complete their challenge just in time for World AIDS Day 2014, raising a fantastic £555 in sponsorship with an additional £500 matched funding from Nationwide. Check out our active fundraisers page for more ideas on how you can challenge yourself to raise money for NAT.

Feel the love like the University of Kent

The University of Kent RaG raised an impressive £725 when they held a Take Me Out evening in aid of NAT. Not only that but all four of the main contestants managed to pair up and were sent for romantic meals in different restaurants. If you’re interested in holding your own event at your school or university and want to get in touch with our fundraising team, email fundraising@nat.org.uk or call Nathalie on 020 7814 6751.
