About Dan Witty

Dan Witty was born and raised in Rockville, Indiana. He is a graduate of Heartland Horse Shoeing School located in Lamar, Missouri.

HHS is owned and operated by world renowned farrier, Chris Gregory, and is widely accepted as the top farrier s chool in the nation.

Before becoming a farrier, Dan earned a degree in veterinary technology from Morehead State University in Kentucky where he met his wife.

Dan has also lived in Florida and worked as a vet tech for the University of Florida Equine Hospital and as a cowboy for Deseret ranch.

Dan has now settled back in Parke County with his wife, Shannon, to serve horse owners as a full-time farrier.
