The official trailer for Jonnys role in Roots where he plays slave trader Tom Lea has been released online. Screencaptures from it have been added to the gallery. The trailer can be found below the cut
The eight-hour event series — which examines one family’s struggle to survive during the era of American slavery — is set to premiere on History, Lifetime and A&E on Memorial Day, May 30, at 9/8c (two days before the Emmy cutoff period). It will then continue for the next three nights, with the finale slated for June 2.

A lot of people have emailed me and left comments regarding the posting of candids. I have decided to keep posting them for now but only selected ones depending on whether Jonny looks comfortable. In this particular encounter he acknowledges them by shaking their hand hence why I have uploaded. To start off some high quality pictures of him out in Malibu on Friday are now in the gallery. A new promotional still from Stonewall has been released by Lionsgate and can be found in high quality in the usual place. Also a massive Happy New Year to everyone as I have not been on due to the limited content I have to post but as always I appreciate everyone who still continues to visit in the more quieter periods. Stonewall will be available to purchase on DVD January 19th
As many of you will have noticed I’m a site that (sometimes controversially) still posts candids. During the quiet spells I found it was a nice stop gap due to other areas of the site also being rather much of the same. After the candids posted the other day in Los Angeles I am re-thinking the sites candid policy about whether I should continue to post and if they have any place on the site which is why I took the decision not to post on here or any of our social media accounts. I will make a decision based on that in the coming weeks but until then enjoy all of the wonderful pictures already available in the gallery

IMDb has updated the page for Stonewall announcing that Germany and the UK will be the next countries to see the film with Ireland following shortly behind in early 2016. The release dates can be found below and the post will be edited as more dates are added

Jonathan Rhys Meyers rocks out as The Clash frontman Joe Strummer in The Hollywood Reporter’s first look at London Town. The Stonewall actor portrays the iconic musician in the ’70s-set drama, which follows a teen who is introduced to the iconic punk band by his estranged mother.
