Same church as Wednesday. Where I am standing is a sort of grotto where they claim that Gabriel appeared to Mary. The spot in the RC basilica, 3kms away, is also in a cave like space. Naturely, if you want to imagine the cave and stuff, you have to imagine the building away, since it wasn't there at the time of the annunciation.

Just a reminder - two different spots are marked by two different religions, for the annunciation. At least, the same town/city. But neither has any real substantiated fact or reason, why their preferred spot is the correct one.

In which case a third site is needed. Draw a line between the two and declare the mid point to be the place of the true annunciation

guess we all understand how this has become so commercialized, Louis. It boggles the mind. Not exactly the same feel as walking the Forum in the ruins of Rome....where the Apostle Paul walked.
