Art Gallery Index

The art on display here is organized into galleries based on subject matter. These galleries reflect my personal areas of interest in the exploration of the realm of digital art and thematic representation. I encourage you to explore the various galleries and collections and if you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

The Landscape Art Gallery contains art that represents my ideas and interpretations of landscapes. This includes a category of landscapes which I have termed Liquid Landscapes and which I believe are unique. A word of caution - you will find no traditional landscapes in this gallery. Rather, the single unifying element are their distinctive styles - styles which represent artistic exploration.

The Portrait Art Gallery contains a wide variety of portraits in terms of both subject and style. The subjects for my portraits include fictional characters, astronauts, robots, personalities, etc. For certain portrait subjects I have created special collections. These collections are:
  • Astronaut Gallery
  • Robot Gallery
  • Eye Gallery

The Visions Art Gallery is the most varied of the art galleries. Not only is the style of the art widely varied, but so is the subject matter. With respect to subject you will find abstract art, algorithmic art, conceptual art, glitch art, and more. Sub-collections of the Visions Art Gallery are:
  • Algorithmic Art Collection
  • Computer Art Collection
  • Dinosaur Art Collection
  • Nature Art Collection

In addition to the artwork shown in the galleries here on Artsnova, I have other art that is available as open edition prints on Artflakes.com. For more information, see Jim Plaxco's Artflakes.com Art Gallery Information Page

If you are interested in artwork for your desktop, tablet, or iPad, I have a gallery of free algorithmic art wallpapers that are sized for the Apple IPAD tablet.

There is also a small Web Art Gallery which features some of the digital art I created to illustrate posts on the Artsnova Blog.

For information about the newest art additions, check out the What's New section on the home page.
