Second edition (1993)

The 1995 CD-ROM version was expanded from this edition. Online corrections are based on the list of corrections included at the back of the 1995 UK paperback edition and further expanded for the 1999 US paperback. They have all been incorporated into the third edition, so should be of historical interest only.

Encyclopedia of Fantasy (1997)

A separate project with strong links to the SF Encyclopedia. The corrected text, with several cuits and omissions restored, was made freely available online from 8 November 2012 but has not been otherwise updated.
