spacer In the Princesses of Myth series, I have placed my heroines in fictional settings which are appropriate to the age in which they lived.  This has allowed me to create interesting stories which also illuminate some timeless issues.  Learning by example is very powerful, even if the example spans centuries and continents.

Each of my characters knows that she can shape her future.  Each makes many choices throughout her journeys, all of which affect her ultimate position in her society.  Prime among these choices is how she treats others: family, slaves, commoners and royalty.  It is my hope that these princesses are good examples for young women in 21st-century America.
