We are a group of law professors and/or economists who teach and write in the business law area, broadly defined, and including especially antitrust, industrial organization and corporate law/corporate governance. We launched Truth on the Market in January 2006 to provide the metaphysical subjective truth on abstract, concrete and invisible markets throughout the civilized world (whatever that means).

In May 2010, Truth on the Market became the home of Ideoblog, the popular law blog offering the expert commentary of Professor Larry Ribstein (the Mildred Van Voorhis Jones Chair in Law and the Associate Dean for Research at the University of Illinois College of Law) on subjects including corporate law, unincorporated business entities, the death of big law, jurisdictional competition, Sarbanes-Oxley, financial regulation, the criminalization of corporate law, and the portrayal of capitalism in film.  Readers searching for Ideoblog posts can find them in our Ideoblog Archives.
