encourages you to submit a report and compete with communities of similar population across the nation.

Category 1:
For areas with 300,000 + population.
Category 2:
For areas with 100,000-300,000 population.
Category 3:
For areas with 50,000-100,000 population.
Category 4:
For areas with 15,000-50,000 population.
Category 5:
For areas with 5,000-15,000 population.
Category 6:
For areas with less than 5,000 population.
Category 7:
Open to military bases and communities.
Category 8:
For electric utility companies only.
Category 9:
For states only. Top ranked state wins award.
Category 10:
For smaller neighborhoods or communities.
Category 11:
For colleges and universities.
Category 12:
For first year participating areas only.
There are no financial barriers to participating in National Night Out. That has always been our commitment, but, in today’s difficult economy, it’s worth highlighting.
