LAN Party!
Just had a killer 6 man LAN party recently here at my suite in Vegas with some friends I met online playing Quake Live, and they were die hard Quake fanatics. Was so much fun; definitely plan on hosting them more often, maybe even once a month. While this is a private LAN party I’m hosting right now, I would love for in to do some more Fatal1ty CON events in the future. I used to host these in Kansas City and St. Louis a lot, with about 50-150 people showing up to my LAN parties. I guess as soon as I find a good venue here in Vegas, I’ll start hosting them more often. For now its the private game at my place :)

Anyway, the LAN party was killer and maybe you guys should start throwing LAN parties of your own. They’re way better than just playing online with friends, and, you get to test out your settings even more, get real feedback from friends, etc. So have a LAN party one weekend with some friends and game on. You’ll always learn at a more accelerated rate on LAN than online.
