Sneha Antony covers Bushwick for The Brooklyn Ink. She has lived in Asia, Middle East, Europe, and the United States and holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Texas Christian University. She spent a year as a digital content producer for KVUE, the ABC-affiliate in Austin, Texas, and interned for CBS Denver and the 2015 Online News Association intern in Los Angeles. Sneha aspires to become a foreign correspondent.

Kavya Balaraman is an assistant editor for The Brooklyn Ink, where she covers Greenpoint and Wiliamsburg. After graduating from Delhi University in 2011, she worked as a reporter for the Deccan Herald in Bangalore, India. She has also worked with different organizations on developing sustainable waste management systems for urban municipalities.

Sawyer D’Argonne covers Bedford-Stuyvesant for The Brooklyn Ink. He graduated from the University of Denver in 2011 where he worked as an editorial assistant for the University of Denver Magazine, and also as a reporter for the Aurora Sentinel.

Alex Daugherty is an assistant editor for The Brooklyn Ink, where he covers Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, and Navy Yard. While originally from Pennsylvania, he studied politics at Bates College in Maine. He was the Editor-in-Chief for The Bates Student and a sports reporter for The York Daily Record. He aspires to use in-depth analysis in sports reporting and political investigations. Alex is a Stabile investigative reporting fellow at Columbia.

Valerie Dekimpe reports for The Brooklyn Ink from Gowanus and Park Slope. She recently graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a degree in international relations. Valerie has worked as a reporter in Santiago, Chile, covering local news for the Santiago Times and The Latin Correspondent. She speaks French and Spanish.

Antonia Farzan covers Prospect Heights and Crown Heights for The Brooklyn Ink. Born and raised in Rhode Island, she studied Classics and Creative Writing at Hamilton College. Farzan began her reporting career as a contributing writer for the Mercury, an alt-weekly in Newport, Rhode Island, and is currently an M.S. candidate at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.

Ishika Gupta is a co-webmaster for The Brooklyn Ink, where she covers Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, and Downtown Brooklyn. She majored in Multimedia at the Delhi University, where she served on the business staff of DU Beat, India’s largest student-run media publication. She has also written features for The Hindu, handled social media for the TV-Web synergy team of NDTV, and interned at CNN IBN during the 2014 Delhi Assembly Election.

Kailyn Lamb is photo editor for The Brooklyn Ink, where she reports from Sunset Park and Winsdor Terrace. She graduated in 2014 from the Metropolitan State University of Denver where she studied multimedia journalism. At MSU Denver, Kailyn worked for the campus newspaper as an editor and reporter. She interned as a writer at Out Front magazine in Denver. Kailyn is hoping to start her own magazine publishing company one day.

Stassy Olmos is a reporter covering Greenpoint and Wiliamsburg for The Brooklyn Ink. She is from Los Angeles, where she recently graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Social Entrepreneurism. She has worked at Annenberg TV News as an anchor, reporter, and multimedia journalist and interned at the CBS Investigative Unit in LA. She hopes to pursue a career as a reporter in broadcast.

Krutika Pathi is co-webmaster for The Brooklyn Ink, where she covers Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, and Cobble Hill. She grew up in Bangalore, India, and graduated in sociology from Lancaster University in the UK, where she researched gender, class, and sexuality. Before coming to the Columbia, she worked as a production assistant on a documentary and interned at Daily News and Analysis and INKTalks in Bangalore.

Carlett Spike covers Bushwick for The Brooklyn Ink. She graduated from Rutgers University in May 2015 and currently attends Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. During her undergraduate career she interned as a writer for Mxdwn.com and was an editor for volume 10 of Dialogues@RU, and was also a contributing writer for Rutgers’ Daily Targum newspaper and a publicity intern for The Dr. Oz Show.
