May / June Update
Writing News…
Mercy Burns, the second in my Myth and Magic series, was released April 19th, and managed to hit the New York Times extended list at 21 in its first week out (meaning, I missed the main list by 1–drat it!) It was still on the list second week in (at 24), so that’s a bad effort. Many thanks to everyone who purchased Mercy and made it happen!
In other news…The first two books of the Dark Angels series–Darkness Unbound and Darkness Rising–come out in Sept and Oct respectively, and there’s talk that the 3rd book (working title Darkness Devours) will come out early 2012, which would be brilliant (and more than makes up for the year gap between Moon Sworn and Mercy Burns!)
Contest news…
Anji Johnson from Florida won the signed copy of Mercy Burns–congrats Anji! There’ll be a new contest happening closer to the Darkness Unbound release date, so keep an eye out for that one.
Conference & book signing updates…
For the Aussies…
I’m booked for a chat (and will sign books) at the Craigieburn Library on May 24th (7–8pm), and the Sunbury library on May 26th (6.30–7.30)
I’ll also be in Adelaide on Friday June 3rd at the Castle Plaza Bookshop in Edwardstown at 1pm, and Dymocks in Rundle Mall at 3.30.
For those in the USA…
I’m at the Romance Writers of America conference in June, and will be doing the “Readers for Life” Literacy Autographing on Tuesday, June 28, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square.
