Y'know people think that because we run our program from an underground dwelling that we're out of touch with the world when, in fact, the opposite is true. We have this one cave below the cafeteria that's lined with strange, glowing crystals. The crystals not only receive standard radio shows and podcasts like Radiolab, The Tobolowsky Files, Serial, This American Life and the truth, but also shows from deep within the earth and even a few parallel dimensions. Shows like the The Hollow Earth's Bottom 40 Countdown, Hogarth's Cave Decorating Tips, Ethan Burrows, Cereal, the lie, and Rush Limbaugh. It was listening to one of these stranger frequencies that we discovered a radio program created BY monsters and FOR monsters. It's called This Monstrous Life and one episode in particular felt very timely. We're in the midst of the holiday season, right? We hear a lot of people complain about how stressful the holiday season is, but if you think you have it bad - try being a monster. Take a listen to this one, it'll really give you a new perspective on things. Oh and have a very happy holiday, unless you're a monster in which case, we're so very sorry.
We had a tremendous amount of help excising this show from the crystal cave. Special thanks to The University of Texas at Austin Semester in Los Angeles Program!
This Monstrous Life stars in order of appearance Matt Hill, Cornell Reid, Daniel Bush, Terry Scannell, Matthew Henerson, Romi Dames, Ashley Russo and Nicholas Thurkettle.
Soundscapes created by Ethan Lewis, Joels Strubhar and John Costello. Production assistance Vincent Brown.
Editing and Mixing by Craig Good
Spot art by Kevin McKee Shaw

OVER HALLOWEEN by Casey Wolfe
Original release date: October 16, 2014
Erika Lebeaux is not a big fan of Halloween. It has conjured up some pretty bad memories for her pretty much her whole life. So, it comes as a bit of a curiosity that she would be interviewing the man who made the film that's pretty much the definitive icon of the holiday. A man who is an infamously tough interview who, in success, seems to have created his own monster. A man who is totally, definitively and completely... Over Halloween. Daheli Hall and Jared Rivet star in Earbud Theater's latest foray into the dark and depraved - Over Halloween.

BEA LITTLE by Casey Wolfe
Original release date: July 12, 2014

You've seen them at all the fancy events smiling for the cameras, rubbing shoulders with leaders and celebrities. John and Bea, smiling and happy. But if you look closely, you can see that Bea's smile is usually strained hinting at a not-so-happy life behind closed doors. And if you look even closer at the couple, especially over the past few weeks, you just might notice something different about John, something not quite right, something... off. This is where we'll pick up our story. Starring Melissa Graver as Bea and Sean Keller as John with Nicholas Thurkettle as Emerson and Branon Coluccio as Lewison - please enjoy Earbud Theater's presentation of Bea Little.
