Testimonials

  • The approach that One to One Development Trust take to people’s stories is inspiring, they treat people (and their stories) with great respect and clearly receive excellent responses from people that they work with. One to One have extensive experience in delivering engaging heritage and community art projects. The projects that they have delivered for us have always been extremely high quality, with true community engagement and ownership developed. Their ability to follow and interpret a story has always been impressive. In terms of working relationships they are really good at following and developing briefs, working in partnership and working to shared outcomes. They deliver on time and to budget.

Maya Harrison, Senior Cultural Development officer, Wakefield Council

  • This is the most amazing group of professional people at One to One Development Trust. As Art projects go, Art of West End was the most wonderful project to be involved in. Set in Hemsworth West Yorkshire Judi and the team went way beyond the mark to make this an exciting, creative, truly enabling and for many a life changing piece of work.

    Sue Hulse, Performance Poet

  • Very creative organisation with excellent staff who are amazing at identifying the needs of the people and clients they work with. Some amazing work.

    Lee Farmer, Reverse the Cycle

  • With little fuss and tremendous expertise, Judi and her team were able to conjure up the magical moments of the Unity story – as co-op store, music venue and community hub. She did it through forensic archive research and encouraging people to share their pictures and stories. Her enthusiasm for the project built a tremendous community response. The quality of the products was superb. The film, seen by hundreds, is a wonderful mixture of grit, humour and sentiment that has been loved by everyone. We give the book to all our key visitors and tenants to remind them of what powerful history they build on and the storyboard outside our Main Hall is admired by thousands of users. I would unreservedly recommend Judi and One to One. You won't be disappointed.

Chris Hill, Developer and Chair of Board, Unity Works

  • One to One work with you as part of the team. They are attentive to other team members and are able to offer invaluable advice to the team based on their skills and experience. As part of your team they offer exiting new opportunities. One to One go that extra mile, they had the skills to relate equally well with a wide range of stakeholders. Feedback from all of the participants has been positive and everyone was able to contribute to the project thanks to One to One, they are artists at their craft and have the technical capability to produce something very special.

Ian Deighton, Chair Person Friends of CHaT Parks

  • I always find One to One a pleasure to work with. Nothing seems too much trouble and I count on them to sort things out for me, which they do without any fuss. You seem to be able to handle anything! We recommend you to everyone we know.

Alice Porter, CEO, National Rural Touring Forum (NRTF)

  • The work One to One produced for us was excellent the assistance and knowledge was invaluable. Queries were dealt with quickly and effectively. Specific requirements were accommodated. And special cases were talked through professionally.

Rosie Cross, International Village of Culture

Closure of an industry

The end of deep coal mining in the UK. Kellingley Colliery closed. We filmed the march to pay tribute to the Big K and all the miners who've ever worked there. The closure of the colliery is a huge loss for local community as well as for the industry as a whole. It was though an amazing day, meeting up with old friends and capturing the unique sense of pride in the coalfields.
