Location and Parking
PedalPGH will start and finish at the SouthSide Riverfront Park, in the lot under the Birmingham Bridge. We recommend parking at the South Side Works near REI, located at:
2730 Sidney Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203 [map]
On Sunday mornings, there is plentiful, free street parking all over the South Side, near the start of the ride. Additionally, there are several pay parking garages in the SouthSide Works. Click here for complete location and parking details.
Rider Packets
Each registered rider of Pedal PGH will receive a rider information packet that includes your number and the basics for the ride. If you have registered before August 7th your packets will be mailed to you with your bib numbers. If you registered after August 7th, your packet can be picked up on Wednesday, August 19 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM at REI Settlers Ridge, Saturday, August 22 2:00 PM – 8:30 PM at REI Southside Works, or Saturday, August 29 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at REI Southside Works. Additionally, you can pick up your rider packet the day of the event, but expect to wait in line as we’ll be processing many people.
Suggested Items to Bring to Pedal PGH
Sunscreen, two full water bottles, helmet, bib number and safety pins if you pick them up prior to day-of (provided by BikePGH), spare tube, patch kit, pump, and multi-tool, money for lunch after the ride. Oh, you might want to bring a bike too….and a smile.
