About OASPA

The Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA) is a trade association that was established in 2008 in order to represent the interests of Open Access (OA) journal publishers globally in all scientific, technical and scholarly disciplines. This mission will be carried out through exchanging information, setting standards, advancing models, advocacy, education, and the promotion of innovation. The OASPA blog will serve as an important forum for discussing important issues related to Open Access publishing, and will regularly feature posts from guest authors. Unsolicited guest posts are welcome and should be sent by email to the editor of the OASPA blog, Paul Peters from the Hindawi Publishing Corporation.
