« Oscar Predictions | Main | Liveblogging the Oscars »
Part of the reason its been so difficult for me to keep up with the consistent blogging is that its been tough for me to keep up with my blog reading. Over the course of the past couple of weeks, I've come across several posts that I mean to write about, but just haven't. I'll just group them together in a huge link fest.
The Persistant Lloyd Dobler Fetish - Ann Althouse. I might still write about this, because Lloyd Dobler is a stock character who wasn't so stock before he showed up.
"There are so many difficulties... to being a rock star." - Ann Althouse. Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has embarked on what would be some rather strange behavior if it weren't so damned sensable.
Rocket Fuel Found in Most Americans - Arse Poetica. It turns out that most Americans have more than just trace amounts of the chemicals found in rocket fuel in their bodies and bloodstreams.
Are All Jedi Knight's Frauds? Actually, the link is down because the site has exceeded its bandwidth, but check back, because this is hilarious.
Perplex City - Boing Boing. This could, very possibly, be the coolest game ever. Of course, any game which requires its players to become a liscened college level professor to complete it is cool in my book.
The Bush Legacy - Andrew Sullivan. Goes off on the newest Abu Gharib photos. But what we're doing is ok there, right?
Fully Prepared - Atrios. The Katrina "I swear to God we didn't know the levees had been breached, not that anyone could have predicted that planes would be flown into the World Trade Center" video.
Blog Bookmarking - Fact-esque. We're getting a little meta with this one, but eRobin has a link roundup of the most in depth coverage of the NSA spying scandal by Glenn Greenwald. These are must read posts.
My Thoughts Exactly, T-Rex - Shakespeare's Sister. Summing up Valentines Day.
Natalie Portman, Gangsta Rapper. A SNL Digital Short - Stereogum. Run, don't walk, to watch this before NBC makes Youtube pull this video as well. She's genius.
