Ok, so that was fairly painless.

I activated my new SIM from giffgaff today. As it was recommended by a friend I got a free £5 credit (as did they). I added a £10 goody bag which gets me 500 minutes, 500 texts and 1 Gig of data to be used within a month.

On another friend’s recommendation I bought an unlock code from mobileunlocked and had my phone working on giff gaff within 30 minutes of ordering the code. I’ve notified them of my PAC code and my original phone number swap is in the pipeline. I’m a very happy bunny.
