Paradigm Lecture Series
April 21

Don’t just develop your craft. Innovate and transform it.

From digital media to dance, from music to metalsmithing, our programs challenge artists to go as far as they can—and then go farther. To dive deeply into their fields or to explore their outer limits, to invent the new in some of the most innovative programs in the country or to make an entirely new field with creative partners from across the University. UArts is THE place for courageous artists ready to be brave.

Academics

See for yourself.

Your education is a big choice. It’s the first step on a journey that will influence the rest of your life. We’re looking for talented artists who ask questions, who take risks—who will become part of a community of courageous explorers, collaborators and innovators. Be brave and let your creativity guide you to an incredible career.

THE FUTURE OF THE ARTS
BEGAN IN 1876.

Since our founding almost 140 years ago, the University of the Arts has been a leader in educating visual and performing artists, designers, and writers in the heart of one of America’s most vibrant cities. What does that mean for students today? It means they learn in a unique artistic environment that encourages them to take risks, that helps them to develop their craft and to stretch the bounds of the art forms. We have nearly 1,900 undergraduate and graduate students and 500 faculty members who provide instruction in more than 40 programs, all with one focus—developing creative leaders who will shape the future of the arts.
