Manitoba and Saint Joseph's Join the Association

The University of Manitoba Press was accepted as a full member of AAUP. Manitoba is a distinguished publisher in the fields of Aboriginal history, native studies, and Canadian history.

AAUP also welcomes Saint Joseph's University Press of Philadelphia as an introductory member. SJU Press publishes scholarship on Early Modern Catholicism and the Visual Arts, Jesuit Studies, and Regional Studies.

The AAUP Task Force on Economic Models for Scholarly Publishing has issued its report. "Sustaining Scholarly Publishing" explores the changing ecosystem of scholarly communications, examines new publishing initiatives to determine the characteristics of effective new business models, and makes several recommendations for how mission-driven publishers can continue to thrive.
