Abstract:
This ECAI workshop is one in a series working with ECAI projects, collaborators, and related projects to advance Digital Humanities research and explore the issues of time and space.  ECAI is leading a trans-disciplinary research effort to develop new tools and methodologies for effective investigation of large text corpora and development of complex Cultural Atlases. Computation along with linkages to maps, timelines and images in context will provide a next generation of humanities research environments.
