Stephen Seelbach, Chair

Stephen is the Chief of Staff at Vista Equity Partners. Vista is a leading private equity firm focused on investing in software and technology-enabled businesses. Stephen previously worked at Morgan Stanley for 15 years where he was most recently a Managing Director and Asia-Pacific Head of the Financial Sponsors Group. Stephen lived in Hong Kong and Singapore for 13 years and moved to San Francisco in 2014 to join Vista. Stephen started playing junior squash in New Jersey and won his largest trophy (which he still has) as the NJ Under 10 champion. He attended Amherst College and played and co-captained a team that was ranked as high as 2nd in the country. He graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Political Science and French as well as an International Relations Certificate. Stephen is also a member of the International Board of NUSEA.


Andy Fremder, President

Andy served as the Chief Financial Officer for Farallon Capital Management, LLC, a San Francisco based investment adviser, from 1994 until 2003. Prior to that, Andy worked at Prudential Home Mortgage in Corporate Finance and was a Senior Financial Officer at the time of his departure. From 1984 to 1990, he worked at Deloitte Haskins & Sells in St. Louis, Missouri, and San Francisco, California, where he provided tax consulting services to small businesses and individuals.

Andy is a co-founder of the East Bay College Fund, a community-based non­profit organization that provides substantial scholarships, mentoring and other support to Oakland public high school students from low-income families and communities with historically low college attendance rates. He is also a trustee of the Bay Area Coalition for Equitable Schools.

Andy sits on the board of CapitalSource Inc., a commercial finance company. (NYSE: CSE)

He received his B.B.A in accounting in 1983 and a Masters Degree in Public Accounting in 1984 from the University of Texas at Austin.


Chris Sheldon, Treasurer

Chris is a Member at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (KKR) and is Co-Head of Leveraged Credit at KKR Asset Management. He joined KKR in 2004 and sits on KKR Asset Management’s Leveraged Credit and Private Credit Investment Committees, along with their Portfolio Management Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Chris was a Senior Investment Analyst with Wells Fargo’s High Yield Securities Group and previously worked at Young & Rubicam and at SFM Media Corporation in their media-planning department.

Chris started playing squash at a young age in New Jersey. After playing and serving as captain of the Princeton Day School team, he went on to help found, develop, and captain the Denison University squash program. He holds a B.A. from Denison University.


Bob Bingham

After teaching high school and working in international marketing, Bob entered the investment business in 1981. Bob and Ed Osborn founded Bingham & Osborn in 1985, and subsequently merged with John Scarborough’s investment advisory business in 1989 to form Bingham, Osborn & Scarborough, LLC. Bob retired from the firm in June of 2008.


Leslie DeNino

Leslie is an active bi-coastal resident spending time keeping company with her grandchildren and playing many sports and games. She is an accomplished “squash Mom” who has watched countless matches at all levels of the game. When she’s not on the court, links or card table she can be found on the beach in good weather. In her spare time Leslie is Vice President of Crossroads Capital and earlier in her career she managed a healthcare services practice and a small chain of retail outlets. Leslie spent her college years at George Washington University and Boston University where she majored in psychology.


Jamie Ford

Jamie is a Principal at Vista Equity Partners. Vista is a leading private equity firm focused on investing in software and technology-enabled businesses. Jamie has worked at Vista since its founding in 2000. Prior to joining Vista, Jamie worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Jamie started playing squash at a young age at the Merion Cricket Club, located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He went on to play for and captain teams at the Haverford School and Amherst College. Jamie graduated from Amherst magna cum laude with a B.A. in economics in 1998.


Will Fratt

Will is a Managing Director at Cascade Capital Management which is a private equity firm located in Mill Valley. Prior to Cascade he led global sales for an enterprise software company and has extensive business development and sales experience for several Silicon Valley companies including Juniper Networks, NetScreen Technology, Network Associates and Alantec. Will worked for Salomon Brothers as a Financial Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group and holds a B.A. from Cornell University. At Cornell he was captain of the squash team, ran X-country and played rugby. He learned squash at Cate School and the University Club in San Francisco. He lives on the Peninsula with his wife, Tory, and three boys who are nationally ranked tennis players. He is a member of the Olympic Club and Menlo Circus Club and enjoys playing doubles squash and tennis.


Richard Hashim

Richard is General Manager, Enerplex Division of Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: ASTI) Previously, Richard was Director at Corsair Components, where he worked for over 16 years, managing global sales and marketing efforts.

Richard has been playing squash for over 30 years and aside from winning the US National Squash Championship in 1987, captained the Malaysian Squash team in many international tournaments. Richard received his B.A. from Tufts University in 1988 where he was All American 1st team and an M.B.A. from Boston University in 1992.


Kevin Jernigan

Kevin is a Senior Director of Product Management in the System Technologies division at Oracle, a position he has held since 2009. He started his career at Oracle in 1987, and after four years he left the company to start Emergent, a technology consulting business. Emergent was acquired by Keane Inc in 1999, and Kevin was named Managing Director of Keane’s Data Warehousing practice. In 2000, he left Keane to found Xpiron, to provide online booking services to the health and fitness industry. Emergent grew to serve more than 100 clubs in the US and Canada before Kevin returned to Oracle in 2009.

Kevin has been playing squash since 1977 when his father opened Newport Squash in Newport, RI. He played numerous junior tournaments while growing up, and played varsity squash for four years at Harvard, during which Harvard won four intercollegiate team titles, and one national team title. His brother Kenton also played at Harvard, and went on to a full-time professional squash career, reaching #2 in the world hardball singles rankings, and #1 in the world hardball doubles rankings. After graduating from Harvard in 1987, Kevin moved to San Francisco and continued to play actively in local, regional, and national tournaments. In 1994, he was named to the US National Team, and represented the U.S. in the Pan American Squash Federation Games in Medellin, Colombia. Later in the 1990’s, he got involved as a volunteer with the Northern California Squash Racquets Association, eventually becoming President of the association. He was also named to the board of the USSRA (later called US Squash), and served as President of the USSRA from 2001 to 2003. He continues to participate in local squash tournaments, and with the local squash association.


Peter Lynch

Peter Lynch is President of Urban Green Investments. Urban Green Investments focuses on apartment, office and land development strategies in California, New York City and Texas. Peter holds a Bachelor’s degree from Whitworth College and a Master’s degree from the University of Houston. He just finished his term as the University Club President and serves on the Youth Tennis Advantage Board, an urban youth organization similar to SquashDrive. Peter has also serves on the Leadership Council of Oxfam America.


Matt Price

Matt is Vice President of Channel Development at Enlighted, Inc. His role at Enlighted is to develop and manage channel relationships and strategic partnerships that can accelerate the company’s growth in new markets. His experience in energy venture capital and business development has provided valuable experience and unique insight into how channel partnerships can play a critical role in the commercialization of innovative energy solutions.

Prior to joining Enlighted in 2011, Matt was a Principal at the venture capital firm, Nth Power, where he led investments in a broad range of energy and cleantech investment areas including materials and nanotechnology, fuel cells, biofuels, advanced lighting, and smart grid technologies. Matt was active on the boards of Propel Biofuels, Precursor Energetics, and Topanga Technologies.

Prior to joining Nth Power, Matt spent 7 years in the fuel cell industry in engineering, product development and business development for two start up companies Franklin Fuel Cells and Bloom Energy.

Matt is a Kauffman Fellow, received his MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley where he co-founded the Berkeley Energy Resource Collaborative (BERC), and holds a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University.


Missy Wyant Smit

Missy has been a top five residential real estate agent at Hill & Company in San Francisco for close to a decade. She is married to Yvo Smit, an executive with Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, and they have two daughters.

During her time at Princeton University, Missy captained a National championship squash team and achieved first team All-American honors four times. Enthusiastic, competitive, and goal oriented – she remains an active squash player at the University Club, and plays in tournaments across the U.S.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio Missy comes from a family of squash players and is thrilled be a part of an organization that is making a difference and growing the game of squash.
