The Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor is the chief academic officer of the University and provides academic and administrative leadership in all matters of curriculum and program development, the advancement of teaching, and the support of research and other scholarly and creative work in the academic community. The Provost is responsible also for all academic support units and those services for students that relate to their academic programs, curriculum requirements, and special academic opportunities.
