NADASTORM – THE SAVED EP

Nadastrom aka Dave Nada and Matt Nordstrom turn out their next EP for dubsided following on from the huge success of their debut ‘Pussy’ ep on dubsided end of last year.

Nadastrom deliver the readies with ‘The Saved’ and start things off with title track ‘Save Us’. A backdrop of jackin’ house is drizzled with a female ‘save us’ chorus, stand out cheeky horns and big mac sized melodic drops. This number gets straight down to cheeky business. It contains all your key house elements with an added wink and a dirty bassline to boot.

‘Squarez’ fronts up the b-side and starts off with unyielding crushing kicks and a female siren styled loop before dropping into a gargantuan relentless bassline groove. This is bassline tech house at its best with some filters twists thrown in for good measure. ‘Ghetto Pass’ finishes off the ep and completely blows off the roof as Nadastrom take no prisoners going from a heads down jackin’ groove into extreme air horn territory. A demonic ‘Fuck That’ slogan hollers through the track as Ghetto Pass drops from a monolithic height into some crisp techy hi hats. This one really is a monster.

‘The Saved’ ep continues to carve out the Nadastrom niche as the duo prove their reputation and reputable following as US dj’s and producers with razor sharp skills.
