The London Design Festival is an annual event, held to celebrate and promote London as the design capital of the world, and as the gateway to the international creative community. The London Design Festival 2014 will be held 13 - 21 September 2014.

There are hundreds of events during the festival, all across London. A few highlights include 100% Design running 17-20 September at Earls Court.

London College of Communication hosts a programme of design-related exhibitions and events celebrating 100 years of poster design, 50 years of illustration and 10 years of Stereohype's button badge series. And of course discover the design stars of the future at Designers in Residence at the Design Museum. This year, James Christian, Ilona Gaynor, Torsten Sherwood and Patrick Stevenson-Keating have responded to the theme of Disruption by exploring future housing, illegally staged protests, construction as play and financial systems.
