ANDAZ is the West Coast’s longest-running Bhangra & Bollywood dance party, a transportive experience that has enraptured feverishly dancing Portland crowds for nearly 14 years.

Anjali and The Kid have two different radio shows on two different radio stations.
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Kush broadcasts every Tuesday on KBOO 90.7 FM 10pm – midnight Pacific Standard Time. “Electronic folk and urban sounds from the global diaspora and the desh; an auditory map of the world with South Asia at the center.” You can also listen online and shows are archived for two weeks.
Chor Bazaar broadcasts every Wednesday on XRAY.FM 107.1 FM and 91.1.FM 6 pm – 7 pm. “DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid present International classics & unknown pop gems: vintage Bollywood/Kollywood/Tollywood, Hindi pop, 60’s French, Latin niceness & Panjabi folk.” You can listen online and shows are archived for two weeks.

Learn to dance like a Bollywood rani! Anjali has been studying dance her whole life. Her first teacher was her Indian Mum who trained in Kathak (North Indian Classical) as a student of the famed Gopi Krishna. Anjali herself studied Kathak with S.N. Charka & Santosh Vyas (Jaipur Gharana.) She also spent years as a student of Jayanthi Raman, learning & performing Bharata Natyam (South Indian Classical.)
