Mixing It Up

With All Precincts Reporting, Stamos in Landslide for Arlington County Attorney

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Chief Deputy Commonwealth Attorney Theo Stamos scored a massive win in the Democratic primary for the chief Arlington/Falls Church Commonwealth Attorney job. She defeated David Deane with 82.24 percent of the vote compared to 17 percent for David Deane.

Fairfax Circuit Court Dismisses All Water Refund Cases Vs. F.C.

The City of Falls Church Public Information Office issued a press release late this afternoon stating that Fairfax County Circuit Court Judge Jane Marum Roush granted motions by the City of Falls Church today (Aug. 18) to dismiss 14 consolidated water refund cases. A copy of the Court's order is available on the City's web site.

Regional Gang Task Force in Major Eden Center Bust Here

A major gang bust went down in Falls Church's Eden Center last week. Over 60 law enforcement officers from jurisdictions throughout Northern Virginia, members of the Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force and including 20 from the City of Falls Church, swept into the center with 13 search warrants to confiscate over $1 million in cash and $250,000 in illegal gambling machines.
