IPO Closes

Today we close the International Programme Office for IPY. I thank Chris for his vote of confidence. I thank Ian, Michel and Jeronimo and friends at BAS for enduring support. I thank Cynan and Odd for guidance. I thank Amber and Jenny and Hugues for shaping this and future IPY's with their ideas and energy. I thank Nicola and Rhian, and later Melissa and Karen, the best partners one could hope for in an IPO. And I express deep gratitude to hundreds of friends around the world - you have filled IPY with enthusiasm and generosity!
