New SubDriver from Lost Surfboards
|

Newest Surfboard from Lost Enterprises! | | | Matt Biolos' newest creation is a hybrid of sorts, using the outline of the Sub Scorcher with the features of the Driver tweeked a bit. The SubDriver has a bit less tail rocker (with no vee out the back), a bit more nose rocker and considerably more concave than the Sub Scorcher. The added concave gives more rail rocker through the feet and more lift, making it feel really good in small bowling waves, perfect for early mornings in the bay here. Vee, in the tail at least, is a way to increase the curve/rocker in the rail line, but leave the center line relatively straight. It also helps keep the tail in the face of the wave, adds control at higher speeds, makes wide boards or wide tails easier to roll up on a rail and neutralizes volume and adds forgiveness. | Available sizes (as of 7/22/11)

| | | In celebration of the California Heritage Museum's 'Shortboard Revolution' Exhibit, we are putting on a FREE,
outdoor, nighttime showing of '5 Summer Stories' the epic throwback surf movie featuring the evolution and
the revolution of short boarding in the 1970s. Bring your own blanket or beach chair and enjoy some
popcorn on the grass! We will have an after party at the Basement Tavern across the way from the lawn. Muscial performance at dusk by Nesta Rae, check out her website for some sweet sounds! FREE popcorn and VitaCoco coconut water too! Enjoy! |
