Miss Divine Requires Your Attention
Gather ’round – for the gospel of Miss Devine. It’s the latest installment of the exceptional StoryCorps animated project. As usual, the Rauch Brothers directed, and in this episode, titled Miss Divine, Bill Wray (The Ren & Stimpy Show, Samurai Jack and The Mighty B!) handled the background designs.

OK Go’s Inspirational Celebrational Muppet Theme
OK Go, the creative musicians who made the music video fun again, have teamed with The Muppets for a remake of The Muppet Show Theme song. This is hardly the band’s first pair-up with classic puppet clan. Kermit appeared in one of their earlier videos and they appeared at the Webby Awards last year with Animal.

Watch Wreck-it Ralph Video Game Footage
Disney offered a lucky few at the D23 Expo a peek at the upcoming video-game orge now known as Wreck-it Ralph. In previous iterations, the long-gestating project has been called Joe Jump and Reboot Ralph, and they promotion team is playing it smart and releasing an old-school video game teaser version that mashes together Donkey Kong, Rampage! and Mario Bros. MovieBrats Spools Out Printer Spot
Here’s a new, stylish TV spot from Berlin-based production company MovieBrats. It’s for Onlineprinters.com, and while it’s in German, you should get the rough idea of what’s going on. Animation direction by Vito La Manna:

Harold & Kumar Get Animated For Christmas
The upcoming live-action feature A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas includes some slick-looking stop-motion animation. My guess is that Bent Image Lab handled this, and I’ll confirm as we get closer. In the clip below, they call themselves “claymated,” while I’m guessing no clay was used, but I could be wrong. It’s supposed to look like Rankin/Bass style animation. [spoiler alert] I read that in the full film we see “Harold and Kumar tripping off of psychotropic eggnog, being chased by an evil snowman down the streets of Manhattan.” The film is due in theaters on November 4th of this year.

King’s Animated Second Hand
Second Hand is Isaac King’s latest animated short. He combines stop-motion elements with 2D animation to create something quite unusual. King currently resides in Toronto.
