The hacker Comex has been given an internship at Apple. The part that seems odd is that Comex is the person behind the JailBreakMe hacks that unlocked the iPhone.

The Evernote app for the iPhone and other iOS devices has been updated with some nice new features. The updates most important feature is support for rich text, but there are several other new features as well.

Griffin has gone official with its really cool HELO TC helicopter that flies under control of your iPhone. The helicopter uses an iPhone app to control it as it flies around the house.

HTC sues Apple again, iPhone 5 September 12 launch rumor, another fake Apple Store in China

Apple has been sued again for allegedly violating patents owned by HTC. The suit alleges that Apple is infringing on three patents that HTC owns with tech inside the iPhone and iPad as well as iPod and Mac notebooks.

Apple has filed a patent app for something that we can all appreciate. The app covers a new screen coating that will prevent fingerprints and smudges on the screen of the iPhone.

A new rumor has surfaced that says the other iPhone that launches along with the iPhone 5 will be an iCloud iPhone. The rumor claims that the device will use iCloud for most of its storage.

Despite and tiffs between Apple and Samsung, the two are very intertwined in the iPhone 4. Apparently, a lot of the hardware inside the smartphone is Samsung sourced and more is coming.

What appears to be an entire case of looted iPhones has turned up on Craigslist. Apparently, many of the mobile carrier stores in London where riots are happening have been looted.

Smartphone OS dominance, Orange Film to Go, Apple disabling non dev iOS 5 beta devices

ComScore has offered up data on the dominance of certain smartphone OS' on a state-by-state level. It appears that most of the iOS dominance is in the north and east parts of the US with most middle and southern states leaning towards Android.

The latest numbers are in for the smartphone market that look at what firm is the most popular in the segment. Apple is the top vendor with the iPhone commanding 19.1% of the market. The second place spot goes to Samsung with 16.2% of the phones sold.

Apple inductive charging patent app, Vonage app, iPhone 5 in China for October launch

A patent app has surfaced from Apple that shows different methods of charging without wires. One odd method has the user wrap their headphones around a charge tower and charges and another uses sound vibrations for charging.
